Having moved their suite of software products to the C#/.NET platform, our client is seeking an experienced intermediate level C#/.NET developer to work mainly in C# and on web applications. So, to be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate previous development experience with Microsoft Web technologies (ASP.NET/ActiveX etc). The role requires a very good communicator and all rounder with a ‘can do’ attitude who has gained commercial experience in the whole process from customer interaction through design, planning and coding to eventual implementation.
You will need to be self motivated with the ability to autonomously. The role also demands good problem solving skills together with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to refer to at least five years work experience with Microsoft .Net development using C# and Microsoft Web technologies. Some background in VC++ using VS or similar would also be an advantage.
Nice to haves include experience gained in application packaging (such as Install-Shield), sound research skills, an analytical approach and experience in database design.
